“The Lord has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless those who fear the Lord, both small and great” (Ps. 115:12-13).
An abiding truth that we are continually reminded of from cover to cover in the Bible, is that the Lord has been mindful of us in ways too numerous to count. He blesses and blesses again. But how often are we mindful of Him? Are we only mindful of God when we feel overwhelmed, are desperate, or facing a crisis? Let us be mindful of God when we lie down and when we rise up each day. Let’s be mindful of the Lord whenever we are driving somewhere, in the workplace, at school, shopping, on vacation, or assembled for worship. Be mindful of the Lord as we interact with our spouse and children. Be mindful of the Lord as we converse with non-Christians. Be mindful of the Lord when dealing with sickness and heartache. Be mindful of the Lord when blessed with success and prosperity in life. Let us be mindful of the Lord whenever making plans and setting goals.
Can you say that you are living your life each day mindful of the Lord? What a positive and transformative impact it will have on our relationship with God and everyone else we encounter when we live our life mindful of the Lord!
