In this fast-paced world in which we live, time is the one commodity that seems to be in short supply. However, the investment of our time is necessary if we are going to grow spiritually as God expects.

Jesus gives us the example to follow.

• Like our Lord, are we making time to be with God in prayer (Mark 1:35)?
• Are we searching the Scriptures to understand God's will (John 5:39)?
• Are we seeking and saving the lost (Luke 19:10)?
• Are we making the most of every opportunity, working while we can (John 4:35; 9:4)?
• Are we finishing the work God has given us, or leaving it undone (John 17:4)?
