Baptism was commanded by Christ. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them..." (Matt. 28:19).
Baptism according to Christ is necessary to be saved. "He who believes and is baptized will be saved..." (Mark 16:16).
Baptism was commanded by Peter. "And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord..." (Acts 10:48).
Baptism removes sin. "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins..." (Acts 2:38).
Baptism washes sins away. "Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins..." (Acts 22:16).
Baptism is the only way we can enter Christ. "For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ" (Gal. 3:27).
Baptism saves us (not the only thing, but one necessary thing). "Baptism doth also now save us..." (1 Peter 3:12, KJV).
