1. Since you called on some wayward Christian to try to get him to be restored to the Lord (Galatians 6:1)?
2. Since you personally visited some sick person whose illness was announced (Matthew 25:35-40)?
3. Since you went up to a visitor, introduced yourself, and gave him a personal invitation to return (Matthew 5:47)?
4. Since you asked someone to come to the worship assemblies with you (1 Corinthians 14:24-25)?
5. Since you talked with someone about obeying the gospel (Acts 8:4)?
6. Since you took the time to do something helpful for an elderly brother or sister (Galatians 6:2)?
7. Since you showed hospitality by inviting others into your home for a meal (Hebrews 13:2)?
8. Since you went to a private place and prayed for the Lord's work in this community (1 Thessalonians 5:17)?
9. Since you compared your weekly contribution to the amount you spend on pleasure (2 Corinthians 9:6-7)?
10. Since you gave serious thought to the proposition that the Lord could appear again any moment (Matthew 24:42)?

Believe me, I don't ask any of these questions from moral high ground. I need just as many reminders (2 Peter 3:1) and provocations (Hebrews 10:24) as the person who listens to me on Sunday. These questions help me, and I hope they help you, to sharpen our focus on what really matters: serving God and putting His kingdom first.
